Camp

At HBC, we believe that it is important to challenge our Children to maturity in a variety of ways.  Camps and retreats allow older children to break out of the normal flow of things and gain a new perspective on their lives and their faith.  As a result, each summer we offer a chance for student to attend camp, and each Spring we host a Children's retreat. 

Summer Camp

Each summer, our 3rd through 6th graders escape to Camp Shocco Springs near Talladega, AL.  This exciting and energetic camp experience always has a great effect on our kids.  They come back with stories of God working in their lives and new friendships made.  They come back with a heart full of worship and a head full of great memories.  Registration for Shocco Springs is usually early Spring.

Children's Retreat

The Children's retreat normally happens at Camp Chandler near Wetumpka, AL.  The retreat lasts 2 nights and 3 days, giving those kids in the 4th through 6th grades a chance to get away and have some fun together!
